Hands down my favorite outfit in spring is a white tee with jeans and some sneakers. Basic, yes but comfy and, if styled with the right accessories, very fashionable. Even though I’m a big fan of oversized sweaters, I do like to be able to wear my (leather) jackets without feeling like I’ve gained 10kg.
Maybe my latest purchase had something to do with my longing for my white tee-days. I bought this Tommy Jeans t-shirt a few weeks back but the winter weather is not feeling my spring-vibe.
BYE BYE HILFIGER DENIM, HI THERE TOMMY JEANS
Since the change of Hilfiger denim into Tommy Jeans, it is almost as if they are producing one hit fashion must-have after another! Who still remembers those sweaters that were sold out E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E! Not only the ‘original’ sweaters btw but every sweater with the bold TOMMY JEANS letters for that matter.
Back when I bought my grey Tommy sweater, I had my eye on the mom jeans from the brand but Tommy ain’t cheap, no sir! Fast forward to last week when I got an email from Zalando saying one of my favorites was on sale.. Sure enough: my Tommy mom jeans was on sale big time AND almost (!) sold out. A few clicks later, that jeans was mine.
This weekend I went full Tommy and paired my vintage looking white tee with the Tommy mom jeans. I gave my casual look a small upgrade with my Chanel lookalike (but way cheaper) jacket from Zara and pearl ankle boots from Katy Perry.
Have a lovely week,
