The stars in your wardrobe

Winter might almost be over but it sure has taken its toll on me this week. I came down with the flu, which had me homebound for the week wrapped in blankets. Luckily the weather is finally getting better and so am I! And, what’s more: I can finally wear the dress I found in sale!

A few weeks ago, I found this Zara dress and I’m over the moon about it (get it?). It’s a semi-sheer flowing dress with a buttoned opening in the back and a galaxy-like print.  I’ve combined my dress with my camel Zara coat to give it a more classy look but I might as well throw on my leather jacket to give it a little more edge. As I went for ‘classy’, I put on my Katy Perry pearl booties. I love how they look although the soles of these beauties are quite thin so these boots ain’t made for walkin’ after all.

 To the moon …

Lately I’ve been seeing more stars and moon patterns, not only on clothes but on bags as well. The Prada Cahier bag for example: highest on my list and very ‘high’ in price but oh so pretty. Even though you’ll still see striped sweaters on the streets and the ‘gram (Who doesn’t have that Zara or H&M striped sweater?) it seems as if the moon and stars are the new stripes.

If you like to play it safe at first or you’re not a fan of the galaxy print, you might want to start accessorize plain outfits with starry jewelry.
